Assemblywoman Amy Handlin Joins State Leaders in Condemning Political Manipulation of the Public Debate Schedule

PARSIPPANY, NJ – Today, Assemblywoman Amy Handlin released the following statement regarding Governor Corzine’s request to move the ELEC debate date:
“The Corzine campaign’s request to delay the NJN gubernatorial debate by three weeks is a transparent attempt to manipulate the system – a system they have opted to circumvent – for their own political gain. As ELEC meets today to consider this request, I urge them to see this request for what it is and reject it in the interest of a full public debate, free from the political considerations of any one candidate.”
