Dear Friend,

You have always been such a strong supporter of mine, I wanted to write to you today about something very important: The Election on November 3rd.

Below is a letter from sitting Democrat Councilwoman, Crystal Evans, to Gloucester Township residents.----Dear Friend, You have always been such a strong supporter of mine, I wanted to write to you today about something very important: The Election on November 3rd. As you know, I am a Democrat. Always have been. Always will be. But this year, I'm putting party aside and I'm voting for Mayor Cindy Rau-Hatton and Shelley Lovett, Maureen McLaughlin and John Custodio for Council. To me serving in local government isn't about party labels or partisan politics, it's about putting the needs and concerns of our community first. That is why I'm voting for Mayor Rau-Hatton and her team for council. As a member of the Township Council, I have watched Mayor Rau-Hatton reach out to every neighborhood in town. Her door is always open and she has led by example by voluntarily freezing her salary and refusing to accept a taxpayer financed car. I have watched Mayor Rau-Hatton develop new and innovative programs to help generate new revenue for our town. Initiatives like installing solar panels at the GEMS landfill, selling the Nike property and protecting Moffa's farm. These initiatives would have generated millions that could have been applied to property tax relief. Unfortunately, I've also watched the Mayer/Hutchinson/Schmidt Team on Council block every one of Mayor Rau-Hatton's efforts time and again. They have put politics before progress. The Mayer/Hutchinson/Schmidt Team have played partisan games and stopped initiatives that would have saved taxpayers millions. And now they are running one of the most negative campaigns our town has ever seen. They are deliberately lying about Mayor Rau-Hatton and her record. I wanted to write to you today to set the record straight. So you would know the real story. And now that you know the truth, I hope you will join me in voting for Mayor Cindy Rau-Hatton and her Council Team of Shelley Lovett, Maureen McLaughlin and John Custodio. This Tuesday we have an opportunity to end the road blocks, to stop the partisan attacks and to finally put the interests of Gloucester Township before selfish political agendas. Please remember to vote: Rau-Hatton for Mayor. Lovett, McLaughlin & Custodio for Council. And thank you again for all the support you have given me through the years. Sincerely, Crystal Evans

We Love Councilwoman Crystal Evans

For you, anything Councilwoman. You have done so much for the community and we adore you. You have a block of Senior Voters.
