The Atlantic City Democratic Committee tonight voted to send the names of City Administrator Domenic Cappella, Democratic Municipal Chairman Scott Evans, and former City Councilwoman Barbara Hudgins -- all allies of Craig Callaway's political machine -- to the City Council as possible replacements for Robert Levy. Levy resigned as Mayor earlier this month amidst a series of scandals. The City Council has until November 9 to consider the choices; if they can't agree, the municipal party committee could pick a new Mayor.

Jim Whelan & Callaway Gang - Perfect Together
Jim, How do you feel about getting those Callaway votes for the Assembly seat now? It takes nerve to run for a Senate Seat when you left the city of Atlantic City in this mess. I do not think the district 2 voters want to let Atlantic City get swallowed up the Camden and North Jersey political bosses for your political career.
Whelan
Jim Whelan left Atlantic CIty in fine shape. This nonsense would not have happened if he were mayor. Callaway worked hard to end Whelan's career and almost succeeded. WHelan was the one who campaigned to get a new county chair that was opposed to the Callaways.
