Burlco candidate slams GOP for ties to Wilson

The Democratic candidate for Burlington County Freeholder has blasted his GOP opponent for allowing his campaign to be "financed and managed" by GOP State Chairman Tom Wilson, whose former lobbying partner has pleaded guilty to bilking the Burlington County Bridge Commission of over $2 million.

Dr. Tom Bader says that Republican Joe Donnelly's recent campaign mailer was paid for by "Choice for Change," which shares an address with the Republican State Committee.  He wants The Strategy Group, where Wilson and Robert Stears once worked, to return what he calls "stolen money." 


Stears is awaiting sentencing.

Good campaign strategy

The Strategy Group, part Robert Stears, part Tom Wilson, bilked BurlCo taxpayers out of millions in faux contracts, that much is indisputable. Wilson has been less than cooperative in offering documents related to Stears' arrest and claims innocence even though his former company was part of the corruption probe. If Donnelly is somehow connecting himself, even obliquely, with Wilson and his past lobbying work, then this is a campaign faux pas, and Dr. Bader is rather savvy in pouncing on it.

Of course, we need someone besides the Paulsen drones on the BurlCo freeholder board, and Bader would provide a counterbalance to the current board.

Martin and his UNTRUE drivel makes any democrat look foolish. It is painfully obvious that Bader knows he is in trouble, so instead of focusing on his issues of what he will do to protect residents of Burlco (REMEMBER MARTY YOU DONT LIVE HERE) he is bashing those GOP officials that mean nothing to this race! How easy to deflect attention to you own ineptitude.
