who is mary pat angelini and what computer hacker did she hire to get this far?
I've been wondering
the same thing. First she knocks off Coleman (no surprise there), but then she takes out Baroni by 28%? And then Diegnan? As of this posting, she's up 70-30 over a trauma surgeon. This is Exhibit 1 with what is wrong with this tournament (Exhibit 2 being Diane Allen).
Watch Munzo & Gordon too...
I've noticed that Munzo will climb 10-30% in an hour or two. This happened several times in the past couple of races. Right now, he's jumped something like 12% in the past 2 hours. Gordon jumped 10-20% in 5-10 minutes, in the other races, when there seemed to be a boat load of votes issued.
Keep an eye out on Munzo's percentages today. The votes for Allen and Angelini were steadily climbing all last night until when I went bed. Early this morning they were climbing a bit too and then subsided. I guess their supporters are doing stuff right now. Munzo and Coyle had almost no activity until Munzo's numbers started climbing at 12:30 today, now he's on the move and moving fast. Munzo was around 15% at 12:30 and 28% at 2:40. At 3:10 he's at 33%.
Paying or Hacking - My Opinion: Mary Pat Angelini
Out of nowhere, this woman is suddenly 'apparently' very popular throughout the State of New Jersey. She has been 'winning' the 'most intelligent' poll against formidable, well known, highly respected, and educated politicians. Is she paying people to vote for her, or has she paid a hacker that is exploiting some flaw in the voting system to write a program creating hundreds of votes for her at a clip??? Mary Pat Angelini - would you win HONESTLY??? I guess in some cases dishonesty will get you to the top; this 'contest' may be one of them! Do we want someone that instead of winning honestly is willing to cheat in order to be self promoting? I vote NO for Mary Pat Angelini!!!
Only one way to fix this
Everyone knows something's amiss here. Why don't we all get together and show her that two can play that game. Vote for Munoz. Vote often and have everyone you know do the same. If she still wins, what a hollow victory it will be. It makes a mockery of the contest all together. Some people have no shame. I feel embarrassed for her. If a silly website would cause someone to cheat, what then when the stakes are higher. Makes one wonder. I tried getting Munoz's votes up on Saturday morning and after hours of trying (along with others I surmise), he pulled ahead slightly. Then, within a matter of 5 minutes he dropped down to 15%. Now common', something's rotten in Denmark.

My 2 sisters and I have been voting for Mary Pat since the contest first started. I know of another woman also voting for her. She is not the type of person to even know where to find a computer hacker. This is a fair contest. You want her out, then keep voting for Munoz.

How do you explain
Munoz dropping from 67% down to 15% in a matter of 5 minutes? Seems things have cooled down some now but it wasn't like that before. Maybe its becoming too obvious.

Get a life! This is the same as American Idol. You can vote as much as you want. It's not an official thing. It's all in fun. If you think this is a true representation of intellect then they should run "The Dumbest Blogger Contest." I'll vote for you. I emailed about 100 people and told them to vote for MP. Does it really mean that she's "the smartest" legislator? No, but she does have the smartest admirers. WE LOVE MARY PAT and you would too if you knew her. Stop whining and get back on the global warming blogs where you can really cry a river. :P
BTW...
Dr. Munoz is VERY smart and we love him also. As you can read above, others claimed he was conspiring to win this contest. Let me see, in between fixing someone's ruptured spleen and teaching an anatomy course in university, he's leafing through the yellowpages to find a "hacker" so he can PROVE he's smart. The man's a damn trauma surgeon and professor and I'll bet HE voted for Mary Pat!

MP was leading 60/40 and then with five minutes to go, Munoz is ahead 85/15.
It wasn't Assemblywoman Angelini's fault..
someone hacked into the system and had some fun on her/tom giblin's behalf. I wonder what other legislators got far because of robots?
This contest's a joke..people are taking it way too seriously ..whoever made a robot obviously did and made a mockery of the whole thing.
