BLOSCHAK: CAPUTO NEEDS TO PUT THE BRAKES ON CORZINE GAS TAX HIKE PROPOSAL

For Immediate Release: Contact: Daniel Beckelman (201)-446-9889 October 14, 2009 Bloschak: Caputo Needs to Put The Brakes on Corzine Gas Tax Hike Proposal Belleville-Urban Republican Assembly challenger Andrew Bloschak called on Assemblyman Ralph Caputo to stop a proposed gasoline tax hike, which would inflate taxes on the only item New Jersey is cheaper than the rest of nation on. “Economics 101: You don’t raise taxes in a weak economy! Of course, Jon Corzine never got that message and that is why after raising taxes $1.2 billion this year, we now have the highest unemployment in the region. And now after raising tolls, Corzine wants motorists to pay more for gasoline. When will it end?” Bloschak asked. Bloschak called on Caputo to represent his mostly working-class constituents on opposing a regressive tax. “Ralph is quoted on PolitickerNJ saying we are not a silk-stocking district, so how can we afford to pay more for a necessity? Caputo needs to stand up to his own party on this one and say ‘enough is enough!’ Bloschak said. Bloschak urged 28th District residents to call Ralph Caputo at (973)-450-0484 and tell him they oppose a gas tax hike. ###

Say no to Christie and Corzine. Vote Daggett

Don't by that GOP non-sense that Daggett is a plant funded by Corzine.

Fact is Daggett has no funds at all.

Futhermore, Chris Daggett nailed Christie and Corzine for corruption in 3rd Debate

You really have to hand it to Chris Daggett. Not only did he stand toe to toe with Jon Corzine and Chris Christie he really nailed it to them in the 3rd NJ  Gubernatorial Debate. Once again, for the third time in a row, I give this as a notch for Daggett.

Chris Daggett handed it to both Christie and Corzine for corruption saying to fight corruption you need to lead by example.

Daggett then cited specific corrupt activities that Christie and Corzine had engaged in, including illegal campaign finance and pay to play, and neither Corzine or Christie could defend themselves.

Instead, Corzine acknowledges that activity is going on and agrees with Daggett that it needs to stop.
