Newark Area Republicans Urge Viligance Against Radical Jihadists

Newark-Urban Republican Assembly candidates Andrew Bloschak and Herbert Glenn saulted the heroes of the September 11th terrorist atttacks today and called for continued vigilance on a local, national and international level to break the back of Al-Qaeda and its affiliates.

"This attack hit us right at home and it changed all our lives. The men and women who died that day in Manhattan, Washington and Shanksville deserve our honor and memory. As Americans, we have proved resilient, but we need to maintain that as the attacks become more distant in our past. We must remember that this remains the defining issue of our time. We must also remember that here in the City of Newark, we face risks of attack and must be adequately prepared. As an Assemblyman, I will never let political correctness come before security." Glenn said.

"We must take this not just to salute those brave first responders and ordinary Americans who have fallen, but also to heed the lesson that we can never be asleep at the wheel. Our values of freedom and liberty must be preserved. I will work hard to make sure that as the New Jersey Legislature we work with the appropriate agencies to ensure our region is safe from attack and that we support the brave military people and veterans who will defeat the terrorists," Bloschak said.
