BLOSCHAK WELCOMES GUADAGNO TO ESSEX COUNTY
Assembly Candidate Says Core Urban County Is Competitive for First Time In Years
Belleville-Andrew Bloschak, GOP Assembly candidate in the 28th District, welcomed Lt. Governor Candidate Kim Guadagno to Essex County and said he would join her and other local Chris Christie supporters for an event at Franklin Steakhouse this afternoon.
"Unlike Jon Corzine and Loretta Weinberg, whose failed record should be scaring off my opponent Ralph Caputo, Chris Christie and Kim Guadagno have a record of real accomplishment in crime prevention and rooting out corruption which costs us billions per year. Kim Guadagno supports policies that would have helped prevent the tragic massacre of African-American college students in my district in 2007. These are the kinds of bold ideas we need to reduce crime and bring life back into our communities," Bloschak said.
Bloschak also praised the campaign for its increased presence in Essex County. "I am glad this campaign is not writing off urban New Jersey. Plenty of voters I talk to in Newark and the other three towns in my district have had it with the Corzine-Caputo tax hikes, corruption and economic decline. They will resist the Democratic smears to associate all Republicans with former President Bush and instead associate failed Democrats like Jon Corzine and Ralph Caputo together and vote them out of of office! The efforts of our Chairman Kevin O'Toole and the Christie campaigns office in Newark are giving us a great chance to take Essex County this November," Bloschak concluded.
