BCRO VICE CHAIR BACKS O’TOOLE SLATE IN DISTRICT 40, CALLS FOR CONVENTIONÂ
Hackensack NJ -- The Vice Chairwoman of the Bergen County Republican Organization -- Maryann Lamber, of Hackensack, today endorsed the O’Toole Team in the District 40 state legislative race and is calling on the BCRO chairman to conduct a binding District 40 Republican Convention to allow the local party officials to select the legislative candidates they want to run in the district.
“The team of O’Toole-Russo and Rumana� said Lamber, “is the right choice for District 40.�
Kevin O’Toole, 42, has represented District 40 for six years in the Assembly. David Russo, 53, has served in the Assembly since Assembly 1990. Scott Rumana, 42, the Passaic County GOP Chairman, has served as mayor of Wayne for more than five years, and previously served four years as a Passaic County freeholder.
District 40 is comprised of: Cedar Grove Township, Franklin Lakes Borough, Little Falls Township, Mahwah Township, Midland Park Borough, Oakland Borough, Ridgewood Village, Ringwood Borough, Verona Township, Wanaque Borough, Wayne Township, Wyckoff Township
