The only thing Worse than Jim McGreevey for Burlington County? Dawn Addiego
Retired Navy Seal Bill Brown: "I Just Call Them As I See Them"
Whether fighting for his Country, working on behalf of political candidates or running for office himself, Democratic candidate for Assembly Bill Brown has been an independent voice for working families.
"I stand behind my criticism of Jim McGreevey," said Brown. "If he were running for office today I would vote against him. However, there has been nobody more dangerous to the people of Burlington County than Dawn Addiego. Her legacy of tax hikes, spending increases and corruption are legendary and I am running for office not to support John Corzine, but to end the reign of Dawn Addiego.”
After serving his Country as a Navy Seal in Iraq, Bill Brown has been a leading voice of government reform and has been critical of the leadership of both political parties. (www.changetrentonnow.com)
“I didn’t fight for my country to come home and see politician Addiego, over the course of her career, increase spending by $63 million and increase taxes by $41 million. That’s what I’m fighting against.
I didn’t fight for my country to come home and see candidate Addiego win an election when she ran a disgusting scare tactic campaign that challenged the patriotism of her opponent. That is what I’m fighting against.
By the way, I’d love to see them try to question my patriotism!”
Over the course of her career as a full time politician, scandals and corruption have been at the forefront of every office Addiego has served.
The corruption that has followed Addiego throughout her political career is legendary:
* The Evesham golf course with its mismanagement and patronage.
* The Burlington County bridge commission with its $2.7 million in funds stolen by the Burlington County Republican lobbyist hired under her watch.
* The no-show jobs for family and friends at Palmyra Cove, and, of course,
* The “Paulsen’s 20” and the $30 million of your hard earned money that they took and divided among themselves.
“The common denominator in all of these scandals is Dawn Marie Addiego,” said Brown.
“Dawn Addiego has proven she is only interested in serving the ‘Paulsen’s 20’ and issuing ridiculous press releases instead of passing meaningful legislation. While families are struggling to pay their property taxes, Dawn Addiego is passing legislation to help feral cats," said Brown.
"While Jim McGreevey was bad for Burlington County, Dawn Addiego has been a disaster.”
