Republican Party RIP
When a party in a State as large as New Jersey, with a highly educated, high income, diverse population, can not come up with a credible opponent to an 84 year old Senator (who has accomplished little of note over a long period)......time to hang it up. Whitman is going to be the last Republican elected to statewide office.
I am so happy.
No more distractions, please. Let's focus on Dr. Sabrin's campaign. All aboard!
Let's face it.
When the GOP wins a statewide post, they don't know what to do with it. We'll be safe if Murray gets the nomination. LOL
"All aboard!"
Wiel,
You probably ought not use a train metaphor when refering to Murray Sabrin's campaign and his supporters.

"All aboard!"
Red Bank Indy give me a break!
You can say alot of things about Frank Lautenberg, but if you say he "accomplished little of note over a long period" then reading newspapers is not your forte. I can't think of a NJ Senator who has accomplished more than this guy, especially lately. He blocked Bush's plan to wipe out NJ's chemical security law a few months ago and wrote a law (over Bush's objections) to allow victims of terrorism to take foreign countries that sponsor terror, like Iran, to court. That's on top of stuff he's done before, like banning guns to people convicted of domestic violence.
As an active Dem, I hate to break it to you, but Lautenberg will beat any Republican they put in front of him!
With over 20 years service
That's a pretty thin record. Don't you want to trot out the smoking ban on airlines, also.? He is a non-entity in the Senate -- always has been.
But I agree that he will win in November. You can't beat somebody with nobody, and the Republicans will offer up a nobody.
All aboard #2
At least, this train is better than the other train that lobbyist and politicians took to Washington, D.C. recently. Remember that, T.W.O.?
Primarying Lautenberg
He's not seeking the REPUBLICAN nomination; however, he is contemplating primarying Lautenberg.
