Where was Booker?
By PolitickerNJ Staff | February 2nd, 2013 - 3:40pmNewark Mayor Cory Booker wasn't in attendance at the gubernatorial campaign kickoff of state Sen. Barbara Buono (D-18) this afternoon.
"He had the commitment to be on the Bill Maher show for weeks before they scheduled her announcement," said Booker political strategist Mark Matzen. "We told them he would not be able to be there, but he is committed to her candidacy and will campaign for her up and and down the state."
