Matt Damon and Ben Affleck will be among the attendees next month at a Hollywood fundraiser for Newark Mayor and U.S. Senate candidate Cory Booker.
The Good Will Hunting stars will join a host of Hollywood's finest to raise money for Booker, who is running for U.S. Senate against Republican Steve Lonegan.
The fundraiser, first reported by the Hollywood Reporter, is slated for Sept. 23 and also will be attended by producer J.J. Abrams; Affleck's wife Jennifer Garner and former Disney CEO Michael Eisner.
Affleck, who played superhero Daredevil and who was just signed to play Batman in the latest interation, Garner, who played Elektra in the Daredevil movie, and Damon, who kicked a lot of ass as Jason Bourne, will no doubt have a lot to talk about with Booker, a real live superhero known for saving, well, lots of stuff.
