Democratic Assemblyman Troy SIngelton held a fundraiser at Mastoris diner yesterday, featuring Newark Mayor Cory Booker as the headliner.
More than 140 people attended the event, which netted the 7th District Assemblyman over $80,000.
Singelton will likely face a tough challenge to retain his seat come November as the 7th is a target district for the GOP. To date, no Republican challenger has yet emerged.
