No offense to state Sen. Jeff Van Drew (D-1), but it's hard to visualize U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-9) sporting the Billy Idol-style cut Bill Parcells wore in his resurrection years.
Yet The Bergen-Record apparently confused Pascrell with Parcells in its Sunday edition front page "NFL Hall of Fame Taps Pascrell, Snubs Strahan" tease.
Pascrell caught the blunder and good-naturedly referenced it on Facebook.
"The Record is a fantastic newspaper and does a great job covering our region, which is why I was surprised to get inducted to the Football Hall of Fame," the congressman wrote. "They should know it would be more likely that Cooperstown would come calling, but I certainly appreciate the honor."
