Cape May County Freeholder Kristine Gabor confirmed tonight that she is seeking the GOP line in LD 1 to run for the Assembly.
"Yes," Gabor said in an email in response to the question of whether she intends to run.
The emerging Republican team of Adelizzi-Schmidt, Fiocchi and Gabor would face state Sen. Jeff Van Drew (D-1), Assemblyman Nelson Albano (D-1) and Assemblyman Matthew Milam (D-1).
An Upper Township Committeewoman from January 2010 until Jan. 5, 2012, Gabor won her election to the Freeholder Board in 2011.
The rift between Steve Lonegan and Murray Sabrin goes back to 2008.
