State Attorney General Paula Dow will assign approximately 200 Deputy Attorneys General (DAsG) throughout the state on Election Day tomorrow to help county election officials resolve any voting-related legal issues.
On duty from the time polls open at 6 a.m. until closing at 8 p.m., the deputies will be stationed in each of the state’s 21 counties, said Dow.
“As always, our objective is to protect the right to vote, and to promptly and fairly resolve any voting-related legal issues that may arise,” the Attorney General explained.
Anyone encountering problems with voting on Election Day, including interference with the right to vote, should contact the state’s hotline at 1-877-NJVOTER.
