The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) this week put 9th Congressional District candidate Rabbi Shmuley Boteach "On the Radar," the second out of four steps in the "Young Guns" program to recruit new and viable Republican candidates for the House.
Hoping to face the winner of the Pascrell v. Rothman Democratic Primary, Shmuley promises to be a “values voice” in Congress, returning authentic American values to the forefront and "de-emphasizing the cultural distractions that are deeply dividing the nation," according to NRCC.
In the event that state Sen. Diane Allen (R-7) doesn't run for re-election in 2017, the party has a short list of possible candidates it could field to try to head off either Assemblyman Herb Conaway (D-7) or Assemblyman Troy Singleton (D-7).Read More >
