Best illustration of storm damage around

The Star Ledger technology gurus have come up with a way to show exactly how much damage was done to the New Jersey shore this week.  With clever "before" and "after photos superimposed, you can see the extent of the devastation.

For those of us who felt the storm, lost power and trees, but don't live along the coast it's hard to fathom that the beaches we once knew and visited are no longer there.  These pictures really hit home.
