BRAMNICK ELECTED AS CONFERENCE LEADER - RIBLE AS WHIP

The Assembly Republican caucus reelected Alex DeCroce today as their leader for his fourth consecutive term.  Caucus members who were elected on Tuesday unanimously selected DeCroce, who represents the 26th Legislative District.

In addition to DeCroce, Assemblyman Jon Bramnick was chosen as conference leader.  Bramnick was most recently the caucus' whip, and will be replaced by Assemblyman Dave Rible, who was previously deputy conference leader.

"I appreciate the overwhelming support by the members in reelecting me to continue as leader of the caucus," said DeCroce.  "I look forward to working with them and our governor-elect, Chris Christie, in returning New Jersey as a great place to live and work.  

"Along with Assemblymen Bramnick and Rible and the rest of our leadership team I am confident we can achieve our goal of once again making our state more affordable for middle class families," continued DeCroce. "There are many common sense reforms that should be considered by the Legislature that will improve state government and I will work hard to make sure they are enacted."

"I am eager to begin working with Leader DeCroce and our caucus at finding common sense solutions to the many challenges facing our state," said Bramnick, who represents the 21st Legislative District.  "I am grateful for the opportunity to become conference leader and the many responsibilities involved with the position.  The input from our members is an invaluable tool in formulating sound public policy strategies and will be a key to our success."

"I welcome the opportunity to assume the increased duties as whip," commented Rible, who represents the 11th Legislative District.  "I am thankful to our members for their support. There are many important legislative issues that our caucus needs to be heard on and I look forward to helping play a part in bringing much needed change to New Jersey."
