ASSEMBLY REPUBLICAN LEADER CALLS ON CORZINE TO END THE COVER-UP AND START GOVERNING

ASSEMBLY REPUBLICAN LEADER CALLS ON CORZINE TO END THE COVER-UP AND START GOVERNING

GOVERNOR CORZINE CONTINUES TO WITHHOLD IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM NEW JERSEY TAXPAYERS

Assembly Republican Leader Alex DeCroce demanded today that Governor Corzine finally release revenue estimates to show where New Jersey stands with its current budget as a deficit, estimated to be up to $10 billion by the nonpartisan Office of Legislative Services, looms ahead.

"We all know that New Jersey faces a budget shortfall next year, so what exactly is the governor hiding and what is he covering up? Is it possible that there is also a shortfall this year that the governor is withholding until after the elections?" DeCroce, R-Morris and Passaic, said. "The governor likes to boast that he is leading New Jersey through tough times, but when faced with a challenge, he prefers to keep the public in the dark and remain in denial while focusing on his own political preservation."

The Corzine administration has refused to give the Legislature an update on the state's deficit or follow steps taken in New York, where Governor Patterson ordered immediate spending cuts to offset low income tax collections.

"Instead of working with the Legislature to tackle this mounting financial crisis, the governor is showing his priorities by appearing with President Obama, former President Clinton and Vice President Biden," DeCroce said. "This administration has a track record of skewing disturbing statistics and, according to its own internal memo, cares more about public perception than releasing information that the public deserves to have presented honestly.

"It is time to end the political chicanery and be honest with New Jerseyans," DeCroce added.

Say no to Christie and Corzine. Vote Daggett

Don't by that GOP non-sense that Daggett is a plant funded by Corzine.

Fact is Daggett has no funds at all.

Futhermore, Chris Daggett nailed Christie and Corzine for corruption in 3rd Debate

You really have to hand it to Chris Daggett. Not only did he stand toe to toe with Jon Corzine and Chris Christie he really nailed it to them in the 3rd NJ  Gubernatorial Debate. Once again, for the third time in a row, I give this as a notch for Daggett.

Chris Daggett handed it to both Christie and Corzine for corruption saying to fight corruption you need to lead by example.

Daggett then cited specific corrupt activities that Christie and Corzine had engaged in, including illegal campaign finance and pay to play, and neither Corzine or Christie could defend themselves.

Instead, Corzine acknowledges that activity is going on and agrees with Daggett that it needs to stop.
