VASQUEZ AND BUONO READING DIRECTLY FROM A SCRIPT PREPARED FOR THEM BY THE DEMOCRATIC BOSSES
BURLCO DEMOCRATS CULTURE OF CORRUPTION SINKING TO NEW LEVELS
Burlington County Freeholder Dawn Addiego and her running mate Aubrey Fenton said today their opponents’ allegations of improper conduct by the County Special Services School District in awarding a contract for prescription drug coverage “reek of last minute desperation tactics and character assassination.
“These two are reading directly from a script prepared for them by the Democratic bosses, Addiego said.
“If they had taken the time to acquaint themselves with the facts, they would have understood that the contract that was awarded for drug coverage was in conformance with specifications and the union contract in the school district, Addiego said. “If our opponents support ignoring a legitimate negotiated labor contract, let them say so and let them explain why.
“The fact of the matter is that Amy Vasquez does not pay property taxes in Burlington County and supports increases in a number of Federal taxes, Fenton said. “Contrast her stand with the record of fiscal responsibility compiled by the Board of Freeholders and the Special Services District.
“For some reason they refuse to explain, our opponents do not support low tax rates, economy in government, and taxpayer friendly policies, Addiego said. “They would rather engage in low level personal attacks in the desperate hope it will divert attention from their lack of anything substantive.
“Vasquez, her running mate Dean Buono, their campaign manager Chris Fifis, and the county Democratic party have raised pay to play politics and securing no-bid contracts to an art form, Addiego said. “With their latest comments, their hypocrisy is now on a level with their desperation.
