Sarcone demands Rudder return all campaign contributions accepted from Mount Construction

Evesham, NJ—Debbie Sarcone, 8th Legislative District State Assembly Candidates today called on Assemblyman Scott Rudder to return all past campaign donations accepted from Mount Construction, Dave Smith, the CEO of Mount Construction, any employees of Mount Construction, the PAC Constructors for Good Government and any PAC’s or committees that have accepted donations from any of the above mentioned sources.            “From the start this contract has been filled ethical questions and residents concerns,” said Sarcone. “Scott Ruddder voted to approve a contract from Mount Construction, while at the same time allowing Mount Construction owner Dave Smith to host lavish fundraising parties at his home and accepting his campaign donations.”            In addition to questions about the legality and ethics of this contract, which was approved without Pinelands Commission authorization, Mount Construction has exceeded their contract amount with Medford Township by millions of dollars.             “It is time for Mount Construction to stop taking taxpayer money while financing the campaigns of the corrupt GOP machine, which Scott Rudder is a major part of. The taxpayers of Medford deserve real answers from Rudder as to why he was accepting campaign contributions from someone with whom he awarded contracts to. This is a classic example of pay-to-play.”            “We have only touched the surface on how much money Smith and his PAC Constructors for Good Government have donated to Addiego and Rudder because of how many different ways they have wheeled money into their campaign and other Burlington County GOP accounts. However the number is clearly in the tens of thousands of dollars over the years, if not higher,” added Sarcone. “This is exactly why the residents need to elect Bill Brown and myself to the Assembly this year. We are running to end pay-to-play politics and bring good government back to the state of New Jersey. If Scott Rudder would have spent half as much time listening to resident concerns as he has accepting campaign donations maybe he would have actually accomplished something in Trenton over the past years,” concluded Sarcone. ###

hahahahahahaha

So disgraced turn coat Rep Rob O'Connor is writing press releases for disgraced turn coat Reps Sarcone and Brown? Hahaha.

How many opportunist Republican party switchers does it take to lie in a press release? At least three hahaha.

Oh well...Wait...I hear something...Holy crap...a major new development (based on facts - not this junk) is about to come out...Is it Sarcone? Maybe Brown? When this stuff comes out - I guarantee the Sarcone Brown team will be missing one player.

Great job Rob - found another team you could sink with hahahaha

Funny for real

I love how if you click on "8THDISTRICTDEM" it still says "BurlingtonGOP" in the browser address from when he used to come on Politicker and trash people. Way to go Rob!

What day is trash day in Mount Holly? Somebody tell them Dems so they can start screening candidates for next year.

You can always tell when it's Election Time

It's always amazing when election times comes around.. the politicians start all their digging, and things that haven't been an issue in years (if ever) all of a sudden become the worst thing ever.

It's amazing all the fictitious and contrived "scandal" surrounding Mount Construction. I've been in Medford for quite a few years, and I've never seen them do anything but good work. During the floods they did an amazing job, and I see from their website they've done a great deal of charitable work and contributions to both local and national charities.

http://www.mountconstruction.com/community-outreach.php

That's a lot more than I can say for the majority of these politicians who have never done anything themselves, but are the first to try and cast shadows on everyone else.

These types of stories and misguided facts are just the type that give politics (and politicians) a bad name. It would be great it we could just get back to having hard working representatives of the people who actually care about the people they're supposed to be representing.

Lay off Mount Construction, who does quality work, employs a lot of people, and does charitable things for the community and others.
