“I am united with Essex County Democrats in the belief that there is no better way to honor the historic legacy of the departed and beloved Chairman Phil Thigpen with the election of Leroy Jones as the new chairman,” said Senator Menendez. “I congratulate Chairman Jones as he has ascended to the Democratic leadership of Essex County and I pledge to support him in any way that I can.”
