Chamber Honors Rible for Support of Economic Growth
Assembly Republican Conference Leader Dave Rible, R-Monmouth and Ocean, was among four honorees announced last week by the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce for his work supporting economic growth in the state. Assembly Democrat John Burzichelli, Sen. Republican Anthony R. Bucco and Sen. Democrat Fred Madden will join Rible at the chamber’s Legislative Awards Reception on Oct. 9.
The honorees were selected based on votes concerning economic issues in committee hearings and in the General Assembly, as well as their sponsorship of legislation aimed at improving the state’s economy.
Rible conducts business roundtables to discuss issues facing companies and has continuously advocated for the need to support the Jersey Shore in its recovery after last year’s superstorm.
“I am honored by the chamber’s recognition and I congratulate the other legislators who have earned this distinction,” said Rible. “As a former small business owner, I know the importance of having advocates who understand the issues facing the business community on a daily basis. Creating jobs and providing opportunities for businesses to succeed in New Jersey benefits everyone. This goal is achieved through the bipartisan efforts of both the Legislature and the Christie administration.”

"During my lifetime I have dedicated myself to this struggle of the African people. I have fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die."- Nelson Mandela
