Whelan launching re-election campaign next week
By Max Pizarro | February 22nd, 2013 - 9:13amState Sen. Jim Whelan (D-2) will formally kick off his re-election bid on Feb. 27th at American Legion Post 295 in Northfield.
The veteran former mayor of Atlantic City is running with Assembly candidates Northfield Mayor Vince Mazzeo and Longport Mayor Nick Russo against a Republican ticket composed of Senate candidate Atlantic County Sheriff Frank Balles, and incumbent Assemblymen John Amodeo and Chris Brown.
