Atlantic County Sheriff Frank Balles will announce his 2nd District state Senate candidacy on Monday at 3:30 p.m. in Gary’s Restaurant in Pleasantville.
First reported as a Republican challenger to state Sen. Jim Whelan (D-2) by WPG Radio Talk Show Host Harry Hurley, Balles is running on a ticket with incumbent GOP Assemblyman John Amodeo and Assemblyman Chris Brown.
