Following Governor Chris Christie’s 2013 State of the State Address, Senator Jennifer Beck (R- Monmouth) praised the speech’s focus on rebuilding from Hurricane Sandy and called on Congress to fully fund disaster relief in New Jersey:

Governor Christie has been a rock for all New Jerseyans affected by Hurricane Sandy; demonstrating strong leadership, compassion, and competence as our state rebuilds. As evidenced by his speech, the Governor understands that helping those impacted is the single most important challenge we face this year.
