Cryan Statement on Connecticut School Shooting
(20th LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT) – Assemblyman Joseph Cryan (D-Union) released the following statement on Friday:
“My prayers and sincerest sympathies go out to the families of all the victims of today’s senseless tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut.
“It will take time for all the information to become available and once it does we will have a clearer picture as to the motive behind this heinous attack and whether or not these weapons were purchased legally.
“We owe it to our children to ensure they are protected from senseless acts of violence, especially while attending school.
“Again, I ask that we all keep these families in our thoughts and prayers at this sad and troubling time.”
