Senate Republican Leader Tom Kean praised the nominations of David Bauman and Robert Hanna by Governor Chris Christie to be Associate Justices of the New Jersey Supreme Court. Bauman currently serves as a judge on the New Jersey Superior Court, and Hanna as President of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU).
In response to the nominations, Kean said:
“Governor Christie has once again put forward a pair of thoughtful nominations to the New Jersey Supreme Court. Both Judge Bauman and President Hanna have extremely impressive professional and legal backgrounds, and both received unanimous approval by the Senate to their current positions, a testament to the impressive nature of their qualifications.
Former Congressman Andy Maguire has filed paperwork to run in the 5th Congressional District.
