Press Release
Legislation sponsored by Senator Kevin O’Toole (R-Bergen, Essex, Morris, Passaic) to designate the “Honor and Remember Flag” as an official state flag was signed into law by Gov. Chris Christie.
“The ‘Honor and Remember Flag’ is an ideal symbol of the gratitude felt by people across New Jersey for those hometown heroes and heroines who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country,” O’Toole said. “It is a beacon of honor that assures no loved one’s sacrifice — none of the roughly 1.6 million troops who have died to protect our freedom — was made in vain.”
