SOMERSET – Gov. Chris Christie may still be having regular phone conversations with President Barack Obama on the storm recovery efforts in the state, but he’s yet to touch base over the phone with Mitt Romney.
The governor told reporters he exchanged recently emails with the former Massachusetts governor, but has yet to talk to him on the phone following the Republican’s failed bid for the White House.
“We exchanged emails last night,” Christie said Thursday. “We have not spoken on the phone yet.”
President Barack Obama will return to New Jersey next week to tour the Jersey Shore with Gov. Chris Christie.
