Fulop: Residents the only endorsement that counts

Running for mayor against Jerry Healy next year, downtown Jersey City challenger Steve Fulop didn't take too hard the endorsement of his rival by the Hudson County Democratic Organization (HCDO).

"The only endorsment that counts to me is the residents of Jersey City," Fulop said in a statement. "These career politicians that endorsed Healy today have 15 jobs between them so of course they want the status quo, which Healy represents."
