Third Congressional District Democratic challenger Shelley Adler has raised $308,765 in the first quarter, according to her campaign.
She reported $289,957.69 cash on hand, compared to incumbent Jon Runyan's $735,220.
Michael Muller, campaign spokesman for Adler, said she raised more in this quarter than Runyan has ever raised in a quarter, including this quarter.
"Clearly she is establishing herself as one of the top challengers in the country, underscoring why both the Cook Political Report and Rothenberg Report have shifted this race into a competitive category," said Muller, delighted by his candidate's ability to outraise Runyan.
