Shelley Adler Endorsed by Burlington County Democratic Committee for Congress in the Third District
Burlington County Democrats Excited to Endorse Shelley Adler in Bid for Her Late Husband’s Seat to Continue the Fight on Behalf of Middle Class Families

(MOORESTOWN) – Shelley Adler, the wife of the late Congressman John Adler, was unanimously endorsed by the Burlington County Democratic Committee moving another step closer to securing the Democratic nomination for Congress in the 3rd Congressional District. Shelley Adler is quickly garnering key support and building momentum in her bid for Congress.

“I’m honored to receive the support of the Burlington County Democratic Committee. They were very supportive in John’s campaigns and their continued friendship is deeply appreciated. Together, we will run a issues-based campaign that will create a real discussion of the challenges facing our country,” said Adler.

The Burlington County Democratic Committee endorsed Shelley Adler for Congress only days after she entered the race showing that they are ready to be on the front lines fighting for a victory in this competitive district. Chairman Joe Andl stated, “Shelley is a tremendous candidate and will be a voice for middle class families, veterans and seniors in Congress. She is extremely qualified and will fight tirelessly to change the direction in Washington.”

“Middle class families are frustrated with politicians playing games at their expense. In Congress, I will fight to eliminate tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations, subsidies for big oil and instead, give middle class families a real tax cut. My priorities will include helping small businesses create jobs, rooting out wasteful government spending, protecting Social Security and Medicare and truly honoring our veterans by fighting to improve their benefits,” concluded Adler.

Shelley Adler, a Harvard Law School graduate, formerly served as a Cherry Hill councilwoman and PTA president. As an attorney, she has represented individuals and businesses in corporate transactions and litigation. Shelley Adler is admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania and practiced in a major Philadelphia firm for over 10 years. Prior to entering private practice, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Barrington D. Parker, a federal district judge in the District of Columbia.
