TRENTON - The Democratic alternative in Congressional redistricting was not very much different than the Republican offering.
The alternative had Cherry Hill in District 3 and kept together several areas of high Asian populaiton in Bergen County's new District 5. It nonetheless pitted U.S. Reps. Scott Garrett and Steve Rothman against each other, but it gave Rothman more of an opportunity to win the faceoff.
