SIERRA CLUB'S STATEMENT ON ASSEMBLYMAN GUSCIORA

 "Reed Gusciora has been an environmental champion for the people of New Jersey.  He has been a leader and a fighter on major environmental issues that have shaped New Jersey.  Assemblyman Gusciora led the battle for passage of the Clean Car law and was instrumental in passing the Highlands Act.  He has been a leader on virtually every environmental issue.  As vice chairman of the Assembly Environmental Committee, he helped pass critical environmental legislation and stood up to special interests to stop attempts to rollback critical environmental programs.  In every legislative election in the past, the Sierra Club has endorsed Gusciora.  The Sierra Club looks forward to continuing to work with him on issues that matter to the people of New Jersey"
