State Senator James “Sonny” McCullough and his Assembly running mates Vince Polistina and John Amodeo endorsed Rudy Giuliani for President today.
Giuliani was in the area to campaign for the first district Republican legislative candidates, but stopped by the Ram's Head Inn in Galloway Township to campaign for McCullough's slate.
“We are convinced Giuliani is the most formidable candidate our party can nominate to keep the White House in Republican hands,” read a statement issued by the three candidates.

Asselta/Giuliani Rally a Flop
Only about 150 people showed up for this " Big Rally" in Cape May. As predicted by many Giuliani is not a draw to the people of the First Legislative District. Asselta picked up some money but the crowd was very disappointing. The Asselta campaign has hit a wall they were hoping for a big boost but instead got embarrassed by this poor turnout.
I love it...
when liberals spin. Matt Rooney, who was at the Asselta event today, described his experiences there over at Red Jersey. http://www.redjersey.net/2007/10/01/count-on-it-rudy-rocked-the-new-jers...
Asselta & Giuliani at Cape May
Today's Nick Asselta & Rudy Giuliani rally at Cape May's Congress Hall was very well attended by an enthusiastic crowd of all ages, supportive of both candidates. To say that only 150 attended and it was a flop is grossly untrue and the motive for asserting same is highly suspect.
Truth Hurts
As someone who was there I only ask those of you who were not there watch the NJN Report. The place was half empty! The half that did attend had many many campaign workers filling in the gaps. It makes no difference what " outsiders" think. The First District will not support Giuliani and it was a big mistake by the Asselta campaign manager, Bill Pascoe, to put so much emphasis on this Rally. Notice als othat the firefighters failed to show up. IT WAS A FLOP!
small turnout
Quote from the Vineland Daily Journal : "We're going to have to have a candidate who competes in 50 states, not just in 30 states," Giuliani told more than 100 supporters."
Big mistake to bring Giuliani into the 1st District.

"Truth Hurts"
I'm well aware of that which is why you never deal with it and make up your own facts.
If you're going to make things up, you'd better be prepared to be called on it.
