Over the course of the next two weeks nearly two dozen reporters from the Politicker.com network will be in Denver and St. Paul providing coverage of the national conventions.
As readers of our sites, you should expect to see stories about each state's delegation. This includes all the official activities and the unofficial ones. We will also track convention gossip and the gossip about what is happening politically back home. We believe that at these national conventions there are hundreds of local political stories to be told. We also believe that in this made for television event there are events made just for us before and after the television lights are on.
In between the conventions our reporters will be board a chartered bus and head to St. Paul. All will have a their laptops out and cell phones on. While on the bus we will be watching movies like All the King's Men (the original), Wag the Dog, Power, The Last Hurrah and The Candidate.
And as we document the final steps of a long presidential primary season we will make a stop in the place where it all began: Iowa.
